In-Town Mini: U6 

(Pre-K & entering Kindergarten)

Introduce kids to the game and establish a foundation from which they can grow and develop. Priority will be placed on basic skill instruction and high-level rules of the game. Emphasis on teamwork, sportsmanship, and fun.

Program Description

Entry-level program for kids just starting the game. Playing format is 4v4 on small fields with no goalies. Coaches will referee games. Emphasis on fun, fitness and basic skills. There are 2 divisions within this program: Pre-K and Kindergarten.

Age Group

This program is for kids with birth years in 2018 & 2019 including Pre-K and those entering Kindergarten in Fall 2024.

Season Length

The Fall mini program will run 9/14/24 through 10/27/24. Specific game schedules to be distributed by program director nearer to the season. There are no practices at this level, just one game per week on the weekend on Sundays. Weekend sessions are divided to include a short practice session followed by a game.

Play Locations

All Under 6 Mini games will be held at Coppens Field

Team Formations

Teams will range between 8 and 10 players. Playing format is 4v4 with no goalies. Every effort will be made to level load teams and ensure equitable playing time.
